fantastic access to stunning parks and charming landmarks

We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely stroll to the Ashbourne Recreation Ground & Memorial Gardens, which was just a short walk away, and the nearby Dovedale Stepping Stones added a magical touch to our weekend explorations.

    aesthetic appeal
    facilities upgrade
    inflated prices

Idyllic setting, stylish decor, exquisite views

The fitness facilities could certainly use an upgrade to meet modern standards!!! Considering the aesthetic appeal, the dining prices feel quite inflated for the quality on offer!!!

    cozy treehouse
    delicious breakfast
    extra breakfast cost

Had a lovely time staying in a treehouse. the cozy vibe and delicious breakfast delivered to our chalet were definitely highlights! The spa area offered a peaceful escape, and the garden was perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Only downside was the extra cost for breakfast, but it was worth it for the convenience. 😊

    overpriced stay

At £450 for one night, the price feels steep for what you get, especially with insufficient power points in the room. The buggy service waits stretched to 30 minutes, which isn’t ideal when you need to get to the main building or check out. Although the scenery is stunning, the lack of communication about facilities like the sauna and the slow service during meals made for a somewhat frustrating experience.

    friendly staff
    gorgeous views
    comfortable beds
    small library

    Great spot for family gatherings

We spent 2 nights here for a family reunion, and it was lovely! The staff were super chill and helped us out with a private area for afternoon tea. The restaurant had mouth-watering steaks—definitely the highlight! Just wish the library was a bit bigger for our crew, but overall, a fantastic time.

    cozy chalet
    friendly staff
    impeccable cleanliness
    uncomfortable seating
    limited outdoor options

The chalet we stayed in was a cozy hideaway nestled among the trees. It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed, including a lovely tea/coffee maker. The staff were friendly and provided a porter service for our bags, which made us feel pampered.

Some outdoor seating was not comfortable.
